How About We for Couples is helping my husband and I date again

Matt and I have had a few great experiences so far with the dating site, How About We. How About We was originally launched as a site for singles, but recently they've expanded to include a second offering called How About We for Couples.

How About We for Couples is, basically, a dating concierge service. (For couples who've been together as long as me and my husband, sometimes a little help is needed to figure out stuff to do together that's fun, novel, and cheap!) It's currently available in New York and San Francisco Bay Area, with plans to expand elsewhere soon.

Couples can sign up for free and gain access to a list of date ideas vary widely in price, scope and genre. The value of the service lies mostly the range of date ideas. Sometimes, things are cheaper when booked through How About We. Here are some examples (not all of which are my cup of tea, but hey, variety!):

So, what are you paying for? Depending on the date, you're getting food, drink, and/or some kind of take-home object. (For example, the pickling class above includes "2 jars + aprons," according to the site.)

There is also an optional membership "level" that Matt and I are a part of. As part of membership, you get one free date per month, and all other dates have a members-only discounted rate. Members also have access to rewards like BOGO movie tickets from Fandango, and there's even a fully customizable concierge service (free to members!) where a member of their team will put together an idea just for you. I have to admit, I didn't know about the concierge service until I started writing this post -- but I just submitted a request, so I'll let you know how it goes!

Matt and I just went on our second How About We date today (more on that in another post), and we have a third one already scheduled for early September (the woodcut map class in the lower left above, chosen as a belated 5th wedding anniversary thing!)

For us, they're a great way to push out of our normal couple-type activities. The service gets two big thumbs up from me.

Full disclosure: The link I'm using to point to the site is a referral link. I honestly don't know whether I receive any kickbacks from it. I was not asked to write this post. I just think this service is the bomb dot com.
